Iva Salom

Iva M. Salom was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1976.She studied electrical engineering at the School of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Department, University of Belgrade, and received a B.Sc.E.E. (Diploma) degree in 2002 and an M.Sc.E.E. (Magister) degree in 2006 in technical acoustics.

From 2002 to 2004 she was a teaching assistant in the Department of Audio and Video Technologies, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Applied Studies, Belgrade. She was also a laboratory assistant for electroacoustics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Currently she is working as an embedded systems architect at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Belgrade. Her current research areas are development of embedded telecommunication systems, audio signal processing, and acoustics.

Ms. Salom is the author and coauthor of more than 30 scientific papers in the fields of acoustics and audio signal processing, and embedded systems, and of several textbooks in Serbian, and coauthor of the textbook Acoustics—Solved Problems. She is a member of the AES Serbia Section.
