IMP-Telecommunications at National Instruments Automated Test Summit 2011 in Belgrade

On May 17 2011, NI’s Automated Test Summit Eastern Europe 2011 will take place in the Hotel M in Belgrade. During the workshop latest technologies for virtual and synthetic instrumentation including the topics production test, real-time testing in product validation and measurements in product design are presented by NI and its partners. As a partner of NI and due to its expertise in automated test systems for electronic manufacturing, IMP-Telecommunications will give two presentations.

The first presentation is held by our colleague Milan Oklobdžija with the title “Automated Test Systems in Electronic Manufacturing - Concept and Benefits”. The presentation covers the aspects why and when to use automated test systems in the electronic manufacturing process. It presents an overview of automated test principles and implications on device design methodology. Moreover it outlines the main benefits for electronics manufacturers.

The second presentation is held by our colleague Milan Radulović with the title “Automated Test Systems for Embedded Devices - Two Case Studies”. The presentation describes an automated test system for a DSP-based Ethernet display client (STOS DVA by IMP-Telecommunications) and an automated test systems for IMP-Telecommunications’ teleprotection system TZO-600 modules. These test systems enable complete, fast and reliable testing of fairly complex devices during the production process. Both systems are based on custom test beads, PXI instrumentation and LabView development environment.

For more information about the event and for registration take a look at the official NI site of the Automated Test Summit.
